Book Review: Paper Towns

By: Sarah Asselin
Quentin Jacobsen had been in love with Margo Roth Spiegelman’s enthralling personality since he was a kid. Her crazy adventures and reputation were always enough for him to want to know more - especially when he gets caught in one. When Margo disappears, and Quentin might be the only one that can find her, he is caught in a crossfire of what he thought he knew and what he starts to find out.

Coming to theaters as a movie this July, Paper Towns by John Green offers a unique voice and thrilling tale to capture all readers (though maybe not your five-year old sister). Not only does Green offer a way of writing that speaks to teenage minds, but he does so in a way that is both profound and thought provoking. Paper Towns is recommended for anyone looking to read an exciting, teenage novel written in a not-so-teenage way.
