Spring season is underway and HT’s athletic teams are competing against the best. Here's what's new in the Titans' world of sports.

On Tuesday, April 21st, the three members of our senior badminton team competed. Two of them were playing in mixed doubles, but came up just short of OFSAA. The third member, a returning Grade 12 student, Kevin Yap, played the tournament of his life. He won a semifinal and then a GHAC final and secured his spot at OFSAA that will take place this Thursday and Friday. Congrats to both, junior and senior badminton teams on a great season and to Kevin- good luck!

Junior girls’ soccer team will kick off the season tomorrow on Monday, April 27th at home when they face White Oaks’ team. Good luck girls! Senior girls’ soccer team played their first game of the season on Thursday where they beat the White Oaks Wildcats with the score of 2-0. Their next game is this Tuesday at Loyola. Good luck ladies!

Junior boys’ soccer team opened up their season on Wednesday with a huge win over Garth Webb. The juniors beat the opponent with a 7-0 score! Their next game is tomorrow against White Oaks at HT. C’mon out and support the boys! The senior boys’ team also kicked off their first game of the season this week, but unfortunately with a 2-1 loss. The team will travel to Loyola this Tuesday in hopes of their first win of the season. Good luck seniors!!

The senior girls’ rugby team will officially begin their season this Tuesday at HT’s very own field against White Oaks. The senior boys’ rugby team will kick off their regular season on Wednesday at Nelson high school. Good luck to both rugby teams this week!

At the end of this week, Holy Trinity’s senior boys will head to the ballpark to start their baseball season. They will face Craig Kielburger team in the season and home opener. Good luck boys!

The Titan Times would also like to congratulate Grade 11 student Nathan Rourke who is departing for Alabama to pursue football in the United States. Rourke was the starting quarterback on this year's undefeated senior football team. Good luck, Nathan!

GOOO TITANS!!!
