It was another busy week for Trinity sports teams. The midget boys basketball team opened the second half of the season with two wins in a day. They played Robert Bateman school and Burlington Central. The boys are still undefeated and are third in the Richardson division with 16 points. The junior boys basketball team lead the standings in the Tier 1 division, also undefeated. The boys played on Tuesday and Thursday this week against STA and Corpus, winning both games with high leads. The juniors take on Christ the King and Jean Vanier teams this week in their final games in the regular season before they start playoffs. The senior boys basketball team played STA, winning that game 73-45. Two days later the team played Corpus, but unfortunately lost by 8 points. The seniors play their final games of the regular season this week before they enter their playoff quest. All three basketball teams are doing very well this season, being atop of the standings, but the battle begins after this week. The playoffs are coming, but only one team will be crowned the champions. Good luck to our boys and whatever happens, Titans are proud!!!

The senior boys hockey team took on Notre Dame and M.M. Robinson teams and won both games. The boys continue to play well and build chemistry that will be needed for the playoff season. The team faces Corpus on Tuesday following the game on Wednesday vs Frank Hayden. Come one out and support your hockey team, Titans!!!

Holy Trinity's junior girl's volleyball team lost both of their games they played this past week. They played Christ the King on Wednesday where they lost in two straight sets whereas the next day they lost 2-1 in sets vs Oakville Trafalgar. The girls take on the Craig Kielburger team this Tuesday in their final game of the regular season. The senior girls' volleyball team are not doing so well. They still haven't won a game this season and are in the last place of AAAA Division. Ladies lost to Christ the King 2-1 on Wednesday. This week they play two final season games against Oakville Trafalgar and Craig Kielburger in hopes of ending the disappointing season with at least a win. It might not have been the season we all hoped for, but there is always next year. These two last games are away games for the Titan girls, but if you can, please come out and support our team in their final battles.

The Titans' faithful enter this last week of regular season play with high hopes and goals they want to achieve as most of our winter sports teams enter the playoffs. Let us come out and fill the arenas and gyms with our black and gold spirit and show our love and support for our fellow peers. As always, LET'S GOOOOOOOO TITANS!!!
