Seven Swimmers Qualify for GHAC

On Tuesday February 3rd, the Holy Trinity swim team headed to McMaster to compete in the Halton Championships. The team has been working hard this month ever since their qualifying meets in December. It was clear that their work definitely paid off. The top two swimmers in an event from each team were eligible to compete at Haltons. From there, the top fourteen swimmers in every event advanced to the GHAC meet, which will take place on Thursday, February 12th. Here are the swimmers qualified for GHAC from Holy Trinity:
  • Alannah Mote - 50m Freestyle 
  • Cameron Gesner, Alannah Mote, Kayla Chirstoffer, Farida El Tawil - Junior Girls 200m Freestyle Relay
  • Tatiana Uribe – 100m Freestyle, 100m Backstroke
  • Tatiana Uribe, Maddi McNevitts, Rachel Barca, Alannah Mote – Senior Girls 200m Freestyle Relay
  • Cameron Gesner – 50m Butterfly
