Another eventful week is behind us. First of all once again congratulations to HT’s curling team on becoming Halton Champions as well as winning their final game of the season on Monday against Assumption with a score of 7-1. As I mentioned in last week’s sports roundup, there is still one athletic winter event that will take place in the upcoming weeks and it’s the junior boys’ hockey team which has been finalized. Good luck to our juniors during the season!!

These past two weeks were all about the spring training to conduct our Titan team tryouts. Despite the fact that there are still some teams who still need to make the final cuts, most of them have ready rosters. Junior girls’ soccer team consists of 18 skilled young ladies who showed nothing but enthusiasm, dedication and talent to the Titan soccer program. Congratulations ladies and good luck to you in the season. Their first tournament will be on Tuesday, March 31st at Jean Vanier. The junior boys’ soccer team also has its roster done. It consists of 25 young boys with a great talent and love for the game. Good luck in your season, Titans! The senior boys’ soccer team is not official yet, therefore good luck to all the seniors trying out for the team! We’ll keep you updated, HT. After many morning and after-school practices, Mr. Byckalo announced the senior badminton team. The roster consists of 18 skilled and avid players who can’t wait to get the season started. After the March Break, the team will have a busy schedule. On March 25th, they will face Christ the King's team in Georgetown and on Wednesday, March 30th, they will take part in the Craig Kielburger tournament. There are many more games to played, but let's take it step by step, HT. All the best to the senior team! The junior badminton team is yet to be announced since there’s many players who wish to join the team that missed this past week’s tryouts.

Best of luck to our competing athletes and teams in the spring season as well as to the students that will hear if they made the team or not. The fall and winter seasons were so exciting for the Titans faithful that we already can’t wait for this one to get started. As always, LETS GO TITANS!!!
