The HT athletes were hard at work this week as they took on many opponents in various sports. Midget boys were shooting some impressive hoops this past Wednesday as they won both games that day against Iroquois Ridge & Christ the King. The undefeated midget boys’ last games of this calendar year are this upcoming Thursday against L.B. Pearson and Georgetown District, so come out and support your fellow Titans! Junior boys’ team is also undefeated in their four games so far. This week, they had one game against Assumption where they beat them with the score of 64 to 31. Before they go on Christmas break, the team will face the Georgetown team on Tuesday for a fifth straight win. The senior boys’ also took to the court to gain their fourth straight win after beating Assumption by 17 points. They will face the Georgetown team on Tuesday to close out this calendar year. Lots of basketball action this week, so come out and show your Titan spirit in support!

The senior boys’ hockey team is leading the standings in the Richardson Division with ten points in six games played (5W-1L-0T). This week the black & gold boys took on the Georgetown and Christ the King teams, coming out victorious in both. Their next game before going off on a well deserved break is this Tuesday against Oakville Trafalgar at Oakville Arena. Good luck Titans!

On Tuesday, the junior girls’ volleyball team took on the Georgetown Rebels. In the first set, they played with persistence, making amazing dives and some great rallies and therefore ended off the first set with a victory of 25-23. Second set was a hard fought battle by the Titans who made spectacular spikes, serves and blocks, but unluckily they lost that one with the score of 25-24. The third set was also a loss, but the juniors showed teamwork, which is a key for a growing and developing team. On Thursday, the ladies played once again and this time they came out victorious. Their next game is this Tuesday against Oakville Trafalgar. Come out and cheer on the Titans as they play then at 3:30 pm in the HT gym! The senior girls’ volleyball team is out to a rough start as they don’t have a win yet this season. This week, the girls played Georgetown and White Oaks teams losing both games in two sets. Their next game is this Tuesday against Oakville Trafalgar. Fingers crossed for better luck this week, ladies!
