It was yet another busy week for the Titans’ athletics. In the basketball world, the midget boys are on a hot start with 2 wins in 2 games. The boys beat their opponents with a big point difference. Their next battle is on Wednesday vs. Iroquois Ridge. The junior boys' team are also undefeated with 3 wins. They had a very close game on Tuesday, where they played Notre Dame but came out victorious with a hard battle and lots of teamwork. The boys in black and gold take on Assumption this Tuesday! The senior boys' basketball team have followed in the youngsters’ footsteps as they are also undefeated in their games. This week they won two games against Notre Dame and Oakville Trafalgar as they’re awaiting their next opponent (Assumption) also on Tuesday.
The senior boys' hockey team’s great start to the season continues. Last weekend, the boys played in Pittsburgh where they became champions of the tournament, losing only 1 game and winning 3. On Tuesday, they won against Iroquois Ridge with the score of 5-1, but the next day, they unfortunately lost to Abbey Park by a 2 goal deficit. The boys are back at it again tomorrow when they play the Georgetown team.
The volleyball season has officially kicked off for the Titans’ faithful. The junior girls’ team won the St. Thomas Aquinas tournament as well as the game against Christ the King on Tuesday. The girls play again on Tuesday vs Georgetown at HT. Unfortunately, the senior girls' volleyball team lost their season opener to CTK, but heads up ladies for your game on Tuesday against Georgetown.
