Happy Easter, HT! May you find the renewal of hope, love and the spirit of God. Happy Easter to you and your lovely families!
Now back to business... This past week was mostly a preseason week. Junior and senior boys’ and girls’ soccer teams had their first tournaments to test their team chemistry and skills. The junior girls, coached by Mr. Bonfiglio and Mrs. Richards kicked off the season with a bronze medal at a tournament hosted by Jean Vanier S.S. A two-win, one-loss tournament makes the team very confident that with hard work and dedication, they have a chance at earning a spot at OFSAA this year. Both of the boys’ teams, as well as the senior girls, are getting back into the routine of practice, meetings and upcoming games. The coaches are all convinced it will be another great season for HT Soccer!
Another team in full effect is Titans’ Badminton! Both juniors and seniors participated in a tournament hosted by HT this past Thursday. After a long day filled with rallies between players, the HT Titans came 9th overall at the tournament! With weekly practices and many games in the calendar, the badminton team is determined to have a very successful season!
The junior boys’ hockey team had a tremendous success this past week as they became the first Holy Trinity team to win the Burlington Cup championship! Congrats to the boys on making school history. Good luck in the rest of their season!
