Q: Hey A, are you related to A from Pretty Little Liars by any chance?
A: Sure. Let’s go with that. I’m a very distant, less vindictive relative.
Q: What should I wear on civvies day?
A: Check out our article on spring fashion to find out what’s trending this season so you can truly bring your 'A' game to civvies. But don’t forget you could always go for the classic hoodie and sweatpants look – no one will judge you for wanting a break from constricting clothes considering we all have to wear uniforms, and hey, it’s the next best thing to actual pajamas. Do you, man, do you.
Q: What’s the theme for this year’s grad?
A: All will be revealed in due time.
Q: I’m stressed out, what do you recommend?
A: Considering it’s near April and we’re approaching the last stretch of the school year, it’s understandable that you’re feeling overwhelmed by it all. If there feels like there’s a weight on your shoulders from balancing the heavy load of school, part-time jobs and/or other extra-curricular activities, make sure you dedicate time to yourself. Take time out of each day to do something you enjoy or something that relaxes you, like reading a few chapters of a book that’s not for school for once, or chilling on the couch for a while. Remember that while school is important, so is your well-being.
If part of the reason you are stressed is because you struggle with balancing school with work or because you tend to procrastinate, check out previous editions of this column to see how you can manage those problems in order to prevent some of the pressure that you’re feeling.
Until next time,
