This past week was very eventful for Titans athletics. The midget boys’ basketball team is still undefeated with six wins. The boys played on Thursday against the L.B. Pearson and Georgetown teams where they demolished their opponents. The team will have a longer break than others but will be back at the court to face Robert Bateman high school in February to defend their undefeated streak. The junior boys came out victorious three times this week to also remain unbeaten as they lead the standings in the Tier 1 Division. The boys will face the Nelson team on January 6th. The senior boys followed in the junior boys’ footsteps as they are also undefeated through seven games. The seniors ended off this calendar year with spectacular games and victories and are awaiting their busy schedule in January.

Senior boys’ hockey team ended off 2014 on a losing note, but it’s only their second loss in seven games played. HT will face STA in January. Come out and show your support for your fellow Titans!

On Tuesday, the HT junior girls’ volleyball team played and beat Oakville Trafalgar with the score of 2-1 in sets. The girls came out tough and showed teamwork as well as a true passion for the game. In four games played, the ladies have lost only one battle. Their next opponent will be Craig Kielburger high school. The beginning of the season for the HT senior girls’ volleyball team has been rough. The ladies are winning less in the four matches already played, but heads up Titans as the season is not done yet! There’s still a long way to go as the girls will have an opportunity for improvement starting in January when they face Craig Kielburger.

2014 was a very successful year for Holy Trinity sports teams. This season, we shared many emotional moments with our athletes and the teams. It was a season with ups and downs, but with the determination, patience, love for the sport and the support from the fans, coaches, families and friends, the Titans’ faithful proved and continue to prove what they’re made of. May the year of 2015 bring us and the Titan athletes joy, health, laughter, and strength for what is yet to come. As always, through thick and thin; LET'S GO TITANS!
